Arrival Story:
my boyfriend and i were looking online and in the newspapers for a pure bred rottweiler. i found an advertisement in the local paper listing one male puppy for sale. i called and talked with the breeder to arrange a meeting. the following saturday we met the puppy and fell in love with him. he was small weighing 6 pounds and his tail and dew claws were already clipped. we made arrangements to pick him up the next day. saturday night we bought toys, food and water bowls, and a blue camouflaged baby blanket to bring him home. when we arrived on sunday to pick him up we were so excited and felt like brand-new parents. the breeder said her goodbyes and we could hear the mother dog whimpering. the puppy was very excited to see us and ran up to us immediately. my boyfriend named the puppy brody. as we left brody began to whimper. i started talking to him, telling him how he was going to get to see the world. i told brody about his grandparents in redding and in napa that couldn't wait to meet him. i told him about his new home and that he was going to get to spend weekends in the summer on shasta lake. he only whimpered twice and then looked contently at my boyfriend and i with his tongue hanging side-ways out of his mouth.

Bio:
brody has grown into a beautiful dog. he now weighs a solid 135 pounds. he runs 2 miles every morning around our neighborhood. he graduated from obedience school in march of 2003. brody is good with people and other dogs. he has many dog friends which include mica, gunner, josie, guthrie, raider, shari, and leo. jj was another special friend of brody's. jj passed away in april of 2003. brody enjoys the lake and his grandparent's pools. he is a strong swimmer and loves to fetch the sticks and balls we throw for him. brody will be 2 years old in january 2005. he has not been fixed as we would like to breed him. thanks for your interest in brody's page!
