Fly free my sweet Angel

Fly free my sweet, baby Cookie. I miss you more that I can ever express. My heart will have a hole and my life will never be the same without you. You were my best friend and adventure buddy for the last 16 1/2 years. You had such an incredible life and made my life so much richer. I am glad you can run free and happy again with your sister Nana and brother Pretzel. You will forever be with me and I look forward to the day we are together again having adventures. I love you so much my sweet berry pie.

Old age is no fun

I'm still the alpha girl, still love my walk everyday, going to the beach, food and being naughty every chance I get, but I am slowing down. My back legs aren't what they were, I can't hear anymore and I want to sleep a lot. I know my mom worries about me. She keeps hugging me and giving me pep talks that I am her spunky little girl. I am her baby girl.

I have so much to be thankful for but here are 7 things:

1. To be given a life full of luxury, fun and a loving family.
2. To be able to share life's adventures with my mom and dad and furry sibblings.
3. To be rescued from the shelter when a pup.
4. Lots of warm beds, couches, pillows and blankets.
5. All kinds of yummy food. I've got the lab love of food and my mom and dad love to cook so I am blessed with all kinds of yummy treats.
6. Getting to enjoy the great outdoors everyday. Especially frolicking on the beach by the ocean.
7. All my pals!
