Birthday: January 1st 2001 Likes: being petted, wearing infant clothes (dog clothes are good, but anything that makes her resemble a human is prefered), did I say being petted?, burrowing in blankies, being petted Pet-Peeves: cats, birds, loud noises like thunder and slammed doors, when she wants on the couch but doesn't feel like using the stairs Favorite Toy: rawhides (to bury in blankies and pillows) Favorite Food: Charlie Bear treats Favorite Walk: She prefers short ones but is getting better. Her brother needs longer walks, and because of her short legs she runs wherever we walk! Best Tricks: Letting me know when she thinks she needs a treat. 'Forcing' me to pet her. Burying her bones in blankies, pillows, couches, or any other interesting place. Going up her doggie steps to get onto the couch. Playing 'wheelbarrow'. Arrival Story: I adopted her from a kennel when she was 6 years old. Poor thing had been abused. :( For this reason, she NEVER barks, gives kisses, or misbehaves. But she is opening up a little bit every day. I never thought I'd praise a dog for begging, but with her it's progress! UPDATE 2-15-08 Baby has just BLOSSOMED into a little dog I barely recognize! She jumps and plays and crawls onto my lap. She's even used a few choice words with me when I didn't give her a treat fast enough. I'm so proud of her! Bio: Baby is a breast cancer survivor! She's such a little trooper! She doesn't like being poked or prodded, but she sure likes going to the vet because there are so many interesting sights, smells, and sounds! She also likes to spend time at the kennel club. It's fun to play with the other doggies when Mommy has to go away!
