Likes:
Porsha loved attention from people and she loved other animals.

Pet-Peeves:
Porsha had to sleep in her own room because several of my other dogs were not nice to her.

Favorite Toy:
Her favorite things were squeeky toys and soggy chew bones ( already chewy)

Favorite Food:
Porsha loved about every kind of food and she really enjoyed it when I would share my burger with her in the car if I went to Mc Donald's or Burger King. She even liked fish filet sandwiches including the lettuce.

Favorite Walk:
She loved shopping at PetsMart.

Best Tricks:
Porsha wasn't asked to do tricks but she would sit if I asked her too.

Arrival Story:
Fortunately for me, Porsha's original family couldn't afford to keep her any more. I adopted her from them when she was 2 years old.

Bio:
Porsha, we will miss you! Porsha was special in so many ways. She'd greet me when I returned to the house with a look of gladness. She'd sit at the end of the foyer, waiting for me to look back at her and say, " I'll be back, Porsha; I'll be back." She was always wagging her tail whenever she saw a person, any person. She would also jump up on them but that was Porsha. Porsha loved to take rides in my car. She very often went with me to the bank and she loved to go to Petsmart. She'd get so excited as we got in front of the store. People always stopped to tell me how beautiful Porsha was.. even though I groomed her and did a poor job of it. She never lost her patience with me even though it took me forever to get it done. Porsha loved to eat. Even giving her medicine was easy. My other animals would eat the food and spit out the pill. But not Porsha, she'd happily swallow it with a little peanut butter or cheese. Porsha had the sweetest bark. When she howled like a wolf she'd stick her nose high up in the air and echo a tune that was uniquely hers. My love for Porsha began the day I first saw her. Her previous owners didn't even have to introduce us. She couldn't wait to get to me. She was so happy. She never looked back and never got depressed. Porsha had her own bedroom because my other dogs were jealous of her relationship with me. Porsha had captured my heart. I loved Porsha more than any of my other dogs. I thought many times as I'd put her to bed that I wish she didn't have to be by herself. I know she wanted to be with me. I can still see her hesitating before going into her room because she knew we'd be apart until morning. I would always tell her, "Nighty, Night Porsha" "I love you." "See you in the morning." I'd close the door and the next morning she'd be stretched out on her bed sound asleep. I had to drag her out of bed so she could go potty before I went to work. The last few weeks of her life, Porsha did get a sleeping buddy. Someone who truly loved her. I am so grateful that she wasn't alone anymore. Porsha was born March 15, 1995. Porsha died Monday, February 2,2004 between 9:30 and 10:15pm. I will never forget my grief over Porsha's death but the unconditional love she gave me will forever be etched in my heart and memory. I buried Porsha in front of my bedroom where she will stay next to me while I sleep.

A terrible fight

About 6 months, mycanine sisters attacked me outside in the yard just because I wanted to get my human mom's attention. Up to that time, nobody paid me any attention. I was fitting in just fine. Then Baby, the first dog or alpha, got mad at me for playing the princess, and she just attacked me. My mom was so shocked and didn't know what to do because the other two dogs jumped in for the fight. But mom managed to pull me out and from that day on, I had to live separately. I had to sleep in my own room.

I remember

I remember the first day that my first family decided to give me to my new mom. It was a summer day, and my owner went into a pet shop asking if anyone wanted me, a blonde cocker spaniel. Someone spoke up. About a week later, I went with my first family, two young boys and their parent's to my new home.
I fell in love with my new mom right away. I even got 3 new canine sister's, Baby, Little Feet and Sweetheart and 3 feline sisters, Coco, Merry, and Princess. We all got along right away. I ran up to my new mom and never looked back at my family. I was where I belonged...
