Arrival Story:
I had just started to volunteer at a local rescue group and during orientation I offered to foster a dog that had just had a front leg amputated. We didn't know anything about her other than she was about 1 and had been in the city shelter for a month with a broken leg. I decided to keep her shortly after I took her home because she was sweet, already house-trained, and loved people and other dogs. Also, I thought that because she was a 3-legger, she wouldn't need alot of play or exercise. Ha! What a fool I was. She's more active and stronger than most dogs I see on our twice-daily walks in the hills, on the streets, at dog parks, and anywhere else.

Bio:
She's amazing. She's fearless and does everything a four-legger does: climbs up and down steep hills; chases deer, foxes, squirrels, etc; plays in water (just short of swimming, but I think she could learn how).
