A Very Birdy Poem

Birdy

Polka dotted dog.
Black and white, with a little pink belly.
A cold wet nose and she never gets smelly.

She brings smiles to faces of those who walk by,
she does somersaults in the park;
catches balls on the fly.

Her caramel eyes will melt the coldest of hearts,
and it's hard to stay mad when she eats sofa parts.

When not watching TV or practicing tricks,
she will cuddle in your lap and give you a kiss.

Dear dotted dog.
White and black, with a smile that glows.
Together we'll walk down life's winding roads.
