Likes: Park time, walkies and being loved and hugged and cuddled. She loves when we let her sleep on the bed, and her favorite time of day is when mommy (me) comes home. That's when I get a big ol Dally "grin!"
Pet-Peeves: Being alone. Strangers. Being cold. Mommy not being near.
Favorite Toy: Ball,any treat stuffed toys, toes. She loves gnawing on toenails. I think she was a manicurist in a past life.
Favorite Food: Anything. She loves dried chicken and she adores those doggie meat rolls you slice up, we call it puppy crack. Anything Venison which is the only meat beside chicken that doesn't make her little belly pink up.
Favorite Walk: To the park, the UCSD, to the golf course. She LOVES mall walking. Anywhere with mommy.
Best Tricks: I do the most incredible summersaults, it makes all the neighbors crack up, I can do multiple summersaults in a row as well! Shake, sit, stay, lay down,uppies, crawl, other hand, find the treat. Oh, and she's really good at,"Be Cute!"
Arrival Story: My beloved Diggz passed away suddenly in December 2006, at the ripe old age of 14. I was devastated. As time went on, the empty house was starting to depress me further, my husband and I decided that we needed to adopt a new lost soul to love.
Sweet Birdy was rescued from the streets of Tijuana, Mexico by Baja Animal Sanctuary. She was fostered by 2 people and adopted by another in the short time they had her. I decided that this time FUREVER meant FOREVER.
I saw her picture on Petfinder.com and it was love at first sight. I like to think it was the same for her. She is such a dear little girl. I'll never forget the day she was driven up to the house....sitting in the front seat of her foster momma's truck staring at the world in front of her, and then she locked eyes with me. And the rest is history, she's a Momma's girl.
Bio: Birdy is the goofiest girl! Nothing but love and very vocal, but not a barker. She sings and sighs, moans and groans, wooo wooo's and talks, her Granpawrents think she is literally trying to figure out how to speak English. Being from Mexico it's a second language for her.
She is best when she has an audience to watch her antics. She loves to ham it up and will do multiple somersaults on the grass at out local park. She also is a toy stealer, she get's all the handsome boy dogss to give up their toys so they'll chase her. It's adorable.
Birdy is by far the most gentle, sweet and loving dog I have ever known. And she LOVES her human pack. People will stop their cars to tell me how beautiful she is. And she is, inside and out.

Wait till I tell my buddies at the park they are going to be so totally jealous of me! I mean, not only am I super cool, but now I have like a title or something which is totally cool!!!!!
And the next lizard I eat will be honored and stuff and maybe he won't make me chase him to much and just let me eat him!

Hawt Diggity it's hot! My tongue is hanging out and I'm all pooped out but I had fun at the doggy park! Mommy gave me ice cubes, I like to break them up and leave little ice cube surprises around the house for Mommy and Daddy to step on later! BOL! Happy Summer!
Maizy tagged me for Ice Cream Tag...I'm supposed to say what ice cream I am.
I guess I'd have to be Mint Chocolate Chip because I'm light colored and have dark dots all over me.....and when I roll in freshly cut grass (which is oftern...I turn green too!)
