Nutro Small Bits, strips of raw hide, Greenies, and anything she can beg from the plates of unwary strangers with her "I'm-a-poor-starving-puppy" look.

Favorite Walk:
Through the nursing home where I work or anywhere she might new people or dogs.

Best Tricks:
She can dance, spin, shake, give high-fives, & roll-over. She is very obedient.

Arrival Story:
Before I met my wife I was looking for a dog so I went to the pound. I saw a lady (Ann) there I knew who raised dogs. She was letting the pound know that she was going to be bringing in some dogs that had wandered onto her property. I explained to her the kind of dog that I was looking for and she said she had the perfect one. I went out to her farm and met Jubee (her name was Ruby then) and she really was the perfect dog for me. A few months earlier, Jubee had wandered onto this Ann's property with two pups. She lived in a barn that was half fallen over. She was really scared of people and would hide when ever anyone would come near. Ann started putting food out for her and slowly Jubee would come closer and be more trusting. Eventually, Jubee let Ann pet her and pick her up. Now she is the most loving, trusting, affectionate dog you've ever seen. It is sad to think what someone must have done to her to make her so fearful of humans.

Bio:
I really have no idea what breeds are in Jubee. She is a complete and total mutt from a long line of mutts. Everyone loves to guess, though. Jubee really is the perfect dog. She almost never barks, she is very obedient and knows lots of tricks, she is pretty well behaved, she is very gentle, loving and affectionate, especially with kids and elderly. She and I volunteer with a pet therapy organization and we visits hospitals, nursing homes, and a childrens' psychiatric facility. She absolutely loves helping other people feel better. She really is a very special dog.
