At my work, the APS of Orange County. Lots of great smells there!

She came with one mastered trick: catching her treats in the air; & I recently taught her to "shake"
Arrival Story:
Finally, in the Summer of 2006, we had a fenced in yard ... now it was time to complete our doggie family. Because the APS/Nicks Road Vet Clinic (my work) provides a $30 spay/neuter service to pit bulls, I was falling hard for the wonderful personalities that the breed displayed each time I met them. Their "wiggle butts" and their unwavering trust in humans made it impossible not to imagine having one of my own. Unfortunately the APS adoption center pit bulls seemed to all be male, and I was after a "little" girl. So I turned to Petfinder, and after seeing Daisy's description and finding out she lived with a pack of chihuahuas and pomeranians, I knew this was it; Daisy was meant to be part of our family.
Bio:
Daisy was in the Onslow County Shelter in Jacksonville, NC when her foster mom came to bail her out. She was malnourished & scheduled to be euthanized. She is one lucky girl, and now we are the lucky ones to have her in our lives. She takes obedience classes, has a kabillion toys, goes on weekly nature walks with me, and is all around SPOILED ROTTEN!
