A friend gave me a dog "kit" for my birthday, consisting of a bag of food, collar, leash, and certificate for the pound.
She said she saw a dog that was perfect for me, and when I went to the shelter, I picked out the exact same dog.
Bear was the only dog not barking, and when my wife and I took him out in their exercise yard, he sat between us and leaned against us. Love at first sight.
Bio:
Bear was a stray, and was picked up in a parking lot near a large pet store. He was wearing a brand-new green collor (his best color). No one ever came to claim him... He has always been shy of men, especially older ones with ballcaps, so we assume he had a less than delightful childhood.
