I have to answer 4 questions and post them in my diary. Then...I have to tag 4 furiends. So, here goes...

Name 4 jobs you have:
1. To help my kittie brother, Cupcake, exercise by chasing him all around the house.
2. To help my mommy by tasting all her cooking, whether it's ready or not!
3. To chase away the mailman, Fed Ex guy, or UPS deliveryman!
4. To leave all my toys around the house so mommy will have something to clean up when she's not busy.

Wow! What a night

Tonight was quite a rough night for me. I'm not one for the big thunder boomers! Actually, that's putting it lightly. I absolutely HATE those mean 'ol storms. Tonight one boomer after another rolled on in. Lots of large lightening bolts shooting across the sky, loud, mean thunder booming over head. I was sooooooo scared. I ran under mommy's bed, trembling all over! It seems to be quiet now, I'm peeking my head out from under the bed. I think it's safe to come out and give my mommy a big hug. Thank God it's over!

My Very First Day Off Leash

Mommy was always too nervous to let me off leash because I'm part terrier and love to chase bunnies and squirrels. This past winter, mommy hired a private trainer (who is wonderful) to help both mommy and me. I learned how to be a better doggie and mommy learned how to be a better mommy to me. So today, a gorgeous, warm, sunny day in New York, we went into the backyard, and off came my leash. I ran around all over, catching my football, jumping and rolling, and enjoying being free. I listened to mommy and didn't go anywhere I shouldn't. Wow, what a huge step for mommy and me. I know she'll never let me out by myself, but what fun we will have this summer now that I'm a big boy. Happy Spring to all!!!

3. Best friend- I am my mommy's bestest friend ever, I take walks with her, cuddle up with her when she watches tv, go shopping with her and play with her.
4. Fashion Model - my mommy always buys me sweaters, t-shirts, jackets, collars and booties and loves to dress me up and parade me around.

Cocoa's Gotcha Day -- April 8, 2008

Three years ago today was a most magnificent day. My mommy came to pick me up from the breeders and take me home. I picked her out only a week before and she came every day to visit with me and hold me until the breeder said I was allowed to go home. Every day since has been so wonderful. Mommy and I play everday, we go for long walks and have so much fun together. I now have a wonderful catbrother, Cupcake, who plays all day with me too. Life just isn't perfect until you have a dog and a cat to enjoy it with. Now, life is perfect!!!!!!!

My day at the park

This morning my mommy had to go out, but when she came home, she decided to treat me to a special afternoon. We went down to the harbor (we live on an island), and I got to run all around the place (just not too close to the water). Mommy and I have been taking training lessons with a really great trainer, and we practice a lot the the things we've been learning. We had a very fun, special day!!

Cocoa's Day at the Beach

It was a cold and blustery day, but my Mommy knew I'd needed to have some fun. So off we went to Southhampton, NY, close to where I live and she let me run on the beach. What a day it was. I went crazy sniffing and chasing the tide! The wind blew furiously and sand want a flying. But none the less, I had a terrific time. My mommy knows I need to run around and have fun, so we'll be off for a lot of new adventures this spring. I can't wait. Till next time, Love, Hugs and Kisses...Cocoa
