Arrival Story:
We bought him from a breeder in Scotland. He was a Tigera Malamute, a breed which, I now hear, are extinct

We lost him in the mountains when he fell through a cornice we found him two days later alive and well. He also climbed nearly all the Scottish mountains. He once ran across Scotland for charity and raised £1,000. Also as you may be able to guess from the bio he once escaped and killed 10 of the nabours chickens which, unfortunately we had to pay for. Odins last day: First he started of very sluggish and then later on he just got worse he couldnt urinate or anything. We decided to take him for a walk up a hill he likes apart from when we were near the top he just stopped in his tracks and lay down in the heather which he had never done before in his whole life. So we decided to go back down. On the way down he was finding it hard to keep up also we could see his back legs failing. We decided to take him to t vets on the way home. the vet saw to him and said that if he wasnt better in the morning then he would have to come in ASAP we could tell in his eyes that he didnt have much hope for him he took a blood test and then told us to go home and keep the atmosphere safe, quiet and reassuring for him. On the way out of the surgery Odin didnt even have enough energy to try and fight the other animals in the surgery which was extremely worrying for us. When we got home he just lay in the garden not moving after a wile we managed to get him in the house and lay him down on one of his favourite blanket from when he was a pup then we all just sat in the room with him and gave him some fuss. Then we went to bed. we were woke at 3 o' clock in the morning by Odin howling in pain so we rang the emergency vet and drove down to he surgery when the vet arrived we lifted him on to the table in our 'hammock' we made by lifting up the ends of his blanket he had never been carried like this before and you could see by his face that he loved it. The vet looked abit like Simon Cowll. The vet confirmed that his kidneys had failed and there was nothing left that he could do for him and the only option was to let him go Odin passed at the age of 12 in 2004

I just want to share a story of my life with you!

One day, Mum was taking me for a walk, I was fairly young, but had already developed my hate for other dogs (unless they were very submissive) there was a young dog, quite tough looking and dominant, my mum had let me off the lead as she thought there was no other dogs around, as soon as the other dog was in sight, I lunged and pinned him to the ground, mum pulled me off before I did any damage (or so she thought) but when mum rushed over to relax the dog, It was lying there motionless, mum panicked, she thought I had killed him, and surely the owner would be coming soon, what could she do?! What would have to be done about me? I couldn’t have killed it? Could I? Then suddenly it opened its eyes and got to its feet, confused, but ok, all that had happened was that it had fainted! I rather large tough dog, fainted! When you look at it in that way, it’s funny!
