We were fostering her for our favorite rescue Gold Ribbon Rescue. When she was done with her treatment we decided she should stay here forever! Three goldens.....crazy!

Bio:
She was found as a stray and turned into GRR. She was spayed and started on treatment. She and Trooper are like two peas in a pod and follow each other everywhere. She is his favorite foster we have had. They hit it off right away. She is sweet with everyone. She is like a soft tedibear. Wendy was here for 5 months for her hw treatment. She had some setbacks, but she is very healthy now. She still has some little behavioral issues, but they just make her who she is. She is sort of the "Don Knotts" of goldens. We love her anyway and she and Troop are best buds.

Heart worm neg....yay!!!

I went for my checkup and it is always a big deal when I check negative for HW. You see I had a very bad case when I came here as a foster. We also discovered something my vet is still talking about and I tell people and pups, too.

Before going through the tough treatment it is customary to take some Heartworm meds to kill the microfilaria in the blood stream and be tested to make sure they are dying. Every time I went to the vet my numbers would go up and it was a puzzle to our vet. Finally mom and the vet discovered since I am such a gulper that I wasn't even chewing the Heartguard up....and well they might have just been going through my system whole and not doing their job. As soon as mom started giving me the chewable pills in pieces and watching me chew each bite they began to work.
I like to remind people to do this for their pups ....it is a good thing!

My favorite thing to do lately much to my pawrents dismay is go swimming, get all wet and then go lie behind the rose bushes where it is shady and get covered with mulch! I am a mulch magnet....just spreading it around for mom, thankyou very much! I don't know why she doesn't appreciate my hard work.

I am celebrating my one year anniversary here in my furever home. Time has flown by, but time does fly when you are having fun!

I still have my little personality of a nervous girl, but I have so much fun with Trooper and Holly and get kisses all the time. I know I am loved and I will not have to worry ever again.

I love my dogster pals!
