It has only been one year

Today is one year from the day you left this earth for heaven. It seems like just yesterday. You are in my thoughts everyday and I still cry everyday. But I'm learning to cry happy tears as I remember you climbing on the dinning room table to pee on the Christmas tree centerpiece. Or how you would jump the baby gate everyday to be in the living room but that you never figured out that you could jump back over the babygate to use the doggie door. I still cannot pass by a ferret or guinea pig without thinking about how happy you would have been to greet them. You were such a special dog and I'm thankful for every day you were in my life. I thank you for the love and trust that you placed in me and I hope that you do not feel that I let you down.
