Arrival Story:
We adopted out first Silky, Cocoa from a local breeder in Canada and fell in love with him and the breed. When he was a year old we decided we would like to adopt a female so Cocoa would have a playmate and a girlfriend. Also we loved Silkies so much we wanted more. The waiting list for female silkies is very long in our area so I found Honey on the enternet at sassyk9s.com and fell in love with her sweet face. We adoped Honey aka Hannah from Keith and Janease Linenbrink (who are located in Missouri) and were very pleased with the whole adoption. She arrived safely to us at the airport and we bonded right away. After a long drive home (from Bangore to Nova Scotia) she excitedly greated our 3 children and her new friend Cocoa. They bonded right from the first minute.

Bio:
Honey and Cocoa took to each other from the start and enjoy spending all their time together. Honey is always happy and has a little bounce to her step when she walks. Her tail and ears are always up. Her favorite person is her Mommy but she does enjoy cuddling with all of us. She has tiny features and only weighs 5 lbs. Cocoa is larger at 10 lbs. He is darker in color than Honey. He is also very happy but is more calm, relaxed and quiet. He has sad puppy eyes that melt our hearts. His favorite person is Dad but he is very close to the children and enjoys cuddling, playing and napping with all of us. We think both Honey and Cocoa are the sweetest dogs ever. They are a wonderful part of our family.
