Favorite Toy:
Monkey is his favorite toy. Monkey is really just a ball with a monkey head, arms and legs, but don't tell Onyx! He also loves socks and old shirts (or new shirts, he's not picky)
Favorite Food:
He'll eat anything, especially if he thinks I'll give it to someone else if he doesn't eat it
Favorite Walk:
Onyx loves to walk through the woods behind our house and chase the deer.
Best Tricks:
When Cory tries to leave and Onyx doesn't want him to he'll grab Corys pantleg and pull him back in the house and if Monkey is out on the floor Onyx picks him up and puts him away in his corner.
Arrival Story:
I've wanted a rottie since I was 15, but my mom was scared so she wouldn't let me get one. When I grew up and moved out on my own, my husband was scared of big dogs so I still couldn't get the rottie I'd wanted for so long. After many years I finally convinced my husband to just go see a rottie after I had found an ad in the newspaper. We went and saw him on the other side of a fence. I immediately fell in love with this huge gangly puppy who came running over to me with his toy in his mouth already so willing to share as he tried to put it in my hand over the fence. She let him come out of the fence and Onyx came to each person in our family, the three children included, and sniffed each one of us. He then plopped right down beside my youngest and licked his foot. We knew right then that Onyx had claimed us and we would take him home.
