Arrival Story:
Colby's human says: A friend who works at the Baltimore SPCA told me about this wonderful dog that they found abandoned in a backyard. Everyone at the SPCA loved him, so we went to meet him and immediately fell in love.

Colby's human says: Colby is a very sweet and gentle dog, but also a big goofball. He makes us laugh every day. He wants to go everywhere we go, and when I drive with the sunroof open, he sticks his head out of it (he's very tall). He has two speeds: running full tilt and stop. He loves to run, but he's also very good at just laying around the house. Colby is a very laid back and easygoing character and a pleasure to have. We just love him to pieces. Colby loves to swim after sticks, and he's gotten a wee bit obsessive about fetching his tennis ball. If we threw the ball all day long, he'd probably keep chasing it. We should get one of those tennis ball serving machines. He also likes to play tug of war with his frisbee.
