My Diary

Hurricane Irene

Hurricane Irene hit the east cost pretty hard this past weekend. We were out of water and electric for two days, but luckily, my family saw no major flooding or damage. I know many folks were not as fortunate as us. I work at a pet resort/boarding facility; seeing the heartbreak in each owner's eyes was devastating. Of course, they were in good hands with us, but I can't imagine the feeling of evacuating my property, and on top of that, not being able to take my babies with me! I'll continue to keep them in my thoughts and prayers, I hope the rest of you will do the same

Sorry to hear you were out of water & electric buy glad you saw no major flooding. Can only imagine the look in people's eye when they had to leave their pets elsewhere when there homes were flooded. Keeping all those affected in our hearts & prayers.

Wuv & Hugs,

Thank you everyone!

Petey - Spunky still has his days, but things have gotten better. We recently installed an underground electric fence, so he's very happy having a whole acre run and play. Exercise definitely help take him down a notch! We've learned a couple of tricks along the way to help with getting him "under control." Turns out, roast beef is a major hit with him
