Buddy and Cissy were left behind when a divorce occured and a lady who was half paralyzed had to move out of the home she had rented for 11 years.... Buddy and Cissy both are FULLY vetted, heartworm negative and started on interceptor. They have had a bath for de-ticking and fleaing.. and are on frontline. They have had fecals, vaccines, were negative for erlichea and lymes disease and buddy is 74 lbs of bulk muscle and Cissy is 64 lbs.
These two are Brother and sister and ALWAYS lived at that house where they showed up as PUPPIES after being dumped out here.
We would like to see Cissy and Buddy stay together. The adoption fee for both is $200 (or if adopted seperately $125 each). Please email us for more info or if you would like to foster one or both of these sweet dogs.
They just need a loving foster home to show them that life is good, and people can be trusted. I think they would be best in a foster home together. They have not really been around other dogs or cats but yesterday he did not bark or growl or anything at any of the animals at the vet office. Buddy and Cissy are used to coming inside but the DOGS preferred to be outdoors more. They like to swim in the creek, play with each other and roam the woods. They would stay close to the house and venture out into the woods for a few hours...
And IDEAL home would be an older couple or calm younger family (they have been around the owners grandchildren at age 4 and 6). A LARGE enclosed fence so they are NOT just roaming and during the familiarization process and adaption DO NOT wander off! They MUST be kept on frontline and heartworm prevention... the poor babes were being eaten ALIVE with ticks and fleas!~
Please email us if you can foster one or both of these sweet dogs that just need a second chance at life.
