Greta's grunts
Boston's OKApril 20th 2006 6:15 pm[ Leave A Comment ] So I spent 2 weeks with Mommy in Boston. She took me to Castle Island and someplace she calls "Pope park" in Dorchester. I liked it in both places. Lots of grass, a little bit of sand, and all kinds of other dogs. I love the sea air. I could handle this life, that's for sure! Mommy's nice boss let her bring me in days other than Fridays, so I definitely got all the attention. I'm everyone's favorite at the o-f-f-i-c-e. It was great to be with Mommy so much, but why can't I have Daddy too? And Neely, the beagle who live with Mommy is HUGE now. She's bigger than me and knows how to get on the couch. That was my only refuge. She kept slobbering all over me, but I got a few good humps in on her head. >Snort!
New York sucksMarch 18th 2006 6:52 am[ Leave A Comment ] Mommy's had this notion since she brought me home that I could be Pug in the City. Despite Daddy's numerous protests, she finally succeeded in bringing me with her last week. Not just one day, but THREE. It was horrible. All those people walking on the sidewalks are dangerous for a little pug! Talk about noisy, too. And where is the grass? This pug does not do her business on cement. And those "dog parks"? Forget it. It's GRAVEL. What am I supposed to do on gravel? All those dogs had funny accents, and they were wearing clothes. I just didn't get it. Mommy said I reminded her of her first day of kindergarten. She was dropped off on the playground, and she didn't know any of the kids who were playing. That's exactly how I felt. Well, that was it. No more pipedreams of Pug in the City. Mommy felt pretty bad about it, though. She brought me to o-f-f-i-c-e when we got back to Boston. I was the only dog there that day, so I got all the attention.
Sad dayJanuary 16th 2006 8:00 am[ Leave A Comment ] Daddy and I visited mommy in Boston this weekend. The nice people she lives with have a beagle puppy named Neely. Can you imagine? Mommy moves away and adds another dog to her life! Neely got much bigger since the last time I saw her. She's almost as tall as I am, but I still outweigh her (snort!). She has it in her head that "pug surfing" is an extreme sport. Anyway... it's a sad day because daddy and I had to drive back to Pennsylvania last night, and I got to snuggle next to only one parent in bed. Nobody asked me if this arrangement was ok by me! Hopefully daddy will bring me to o-f-f-i-c-e today.
