Whatever those humans are eating, my food is sooo boring. But I do like when my mommy stuffs yummy stuff in my Kong.

Favorite Walk:
In an open field with my Chuckit and my tennis ball.

Best Tricks:
Sit, down, shake, high-five, heel (kind of), stay (kind of), find your baby

Arrival Story:
My dads retriever had a litter of black and golden retriever/lab puppies and my boyfriend really wanted a hunting dog. We were living with his mom at the time so he had to ask her if he could get one (he was 22 at the time!) Well, to get her convinced this was a good idea we kept bringing the pups over and she fell in love too. My boyfriend picked out the biggest golden of the litter. Turns out Tucker is really the runt of the pack.

Unfortunatly, Tuckers mamma died a couple years back from seizures. And I just found out that his sister has had a seizure. So, I have been watching him like a hawk to catch any early symptoms of epilepsy. I hope he lives a long life.

Best Greeter EVER!

My mom and dad think they are pretty funny. I am known as the family greeter. If anyone comes through our front door, I make sure that everyone knows that someone is here. I have to be the first one to the door to make sure the visitor is ok. Well, I became smart a long time ago when my daddy would knock on the wall. Sometimes I would fall for it and bark and run to the door, but I'm not a dummy, I won't fall for it twice.

Now, they have a new trick, that gets me every time. My parents love to watch this magic box, that is of no interest of me, but it makes lots of weird sounds. And every once in a while it makes the sound of our doorbell. So, I run to the door and bark, and when I realize that no one is there, I go back to my parents and they are laughing at me. Then the doorbell rings again, and I bark and run and then they are laughing again. This happens over and over again and I fall for it a few more times (because it sounds so real). I always feel so stupid when they laugh at me.

Note from mom: We use the DVR and rewind the TV show the doorbell was on. Way funny!!

So, I love when my mommy takes me on a run (well, she runs pretty slow, so I trot, but whatever ,at least I get to see lots of stuff and smell fun things). Well today we ran by this house with these really big and mean German Shepards. They always bark really mean to me. But mamma taught me to ignore bullies or otherwise I get in trouble. So, I was trying to be a good boy and ignore them, but then they crossed the road and they growled at my mommy. She yelled at them, and it scared me. I was ready to fight and protect my mommy, but she calls the shots. I think those meanies got the hint because they left us alone. And because I was so brave, I got a scratch under my chin from mommy.
