Sleeping on the A/C vent, following his mom around, good belly rubs, sneaking kisses, counter surfing.
His little sister jumping on his head, any of his humans leaving him, thunderstorms.
He had a favorite bear, Ted, but now that he's older he's not as interested in him anymore. Abbie sure is though!
The cats', fresh veggies, anything left on the counter.
Down the street to his grandma's house, where he is sure to get a cookie and a good belly rub, as well as peace and quiet.
Schmooging! Giving you big sad puppy dog eyes when you tell him not to do something.
Leko was given to us at the age of 6 because he "barked too much". A week after he came to live with us, he had major surgery to repair a herniated disk in his neck. We had fallen in love with him within the first 5 minutes, so we didn't give a second thought to the surgery. And, suprisingly enough, he doesn't bark a great deal!
Over the years, Leko has generously shared his home with many cats and foster Wheaten Terriers. He has always been the perfect gentleman to his guests, as long as he gets the prime spot on the bed at night. Leko has perfected the art of schmooging to the degree that he is the only Schmoog we know. He has a star named after him, the Schmoogie Star, in the constellation Orion. He is the silliest, goofiest, most cuddly dog and we love him to death!
I'm sleeping, don't bug me!

Well today was something called my "birthday" and mom says I am 12. I'm not sure what all of that means, but it certainly was a great day!
Dad started the day off with giving me raw hamburger in my breakfast. Yum! I've never eaten so fast! Then they let me sleep all I wanted (like I always do anyway) while mom was making good-smelling stuff in the kitchen. I did get a little bit of turkey, too.
To make my day really special, someone forgot to disconnect the doorbell and someone came to the door and rang it! I got to run around barking my head off, it was great!
Grandma and Grandpa came over, then Chewie and his mom and dad. I was glad Chewie came because he played with Abbie and kept her from pestering me for a change.
Pretty soon I was sitting on a chair in the kitchen, and they put a giant dog bone in front of me! Wow did it smell good! I only got one bite before they put Abbie and Chewie in chairs too, and Abbie grabbed a piece. They lit a candle and put a hat on me, but all I wanted was cake. After mom took a zillion pictures, they finally let me have another big bite, and then we all got a full piece on a paper plate on the floor.
After walkies it was time for bed. It's tough being 12 and so cute!
