Puppy Daze!

Last Thursday my Mommy and I went to my Nana's house. We stayed there until this thursday. It was so much fun. My cousins Riley and Blitzen were there. My mom's uncle was putting down some hard wood floors so we had to stay closed off in the kitchen. But once he was done we got out on the floor and played - it was different than the carpet they used to have, when I ran i just kept sliding everywhere. Then on Friday we went to the park - Mommy, Nana, Aunt LaLa, Blitzen, Riley and Me - of course we saw a lot of other dogs and had little chats with them along the way! On Saturday we just sat around the house watching TV. Sunday- My mom was gone most of the day, so I stayed in the cage w/ Riley. But when she came home, she had some treats for us. Monday-my mom was gone alot again, but she came home and took me for a walk, l8ter we went to Petsmart and got some new treats and toys! Tuesday - This was the toughest day - I nearly gave my Mommy a heart attack... My mommy had put me in the cage so she could go outside for a minute (BUT SHE DIDNT CLOSE THE CAGE ALL THE WAY.) So while she was going out the door - so was I - I ran under my Nana's car, and everyone was trying to catch me. My mommy almost twisted her ankle running after me - I can tell she loves me cause she flew on the ground to try to hurry up and catch me from running away. She was trying to bribe me into coming out from under the car - but I knew she didnt have any treats in her hand - I saw she started crying and my mommy was scared, So finally I said "Okay mommie here I am!" Then Wednesday my mom and I went for a walk, and we watched TV all day, My mommie got home late that night cause she went to a concert - she immediately took me outside and then we went to sleep. Thurday on our way home - I kept barking at my mommie cause she was singing, but i finally lay down and went to sleep. This was a really fun week, cause my mom and I hung out alot! But I was so happy to get home and see my Uncle Buddy and Grandma and Papa.

First day of my Journal!

Yesterday, my Mommy took me to the park! We walked around for about an hour! But as puppies do, I stopped to smell everything. I played with a leaf, and an acorn - but my mommy had to take the acorn away from me! We stopped and sat on a bench at the park and my mommy let me have some water and she gave me a treat! As always I was wearing my VA Tech bandanna! But for some reason it kept getting on my nerves today, so my Mommy took it off!

We got back into my mom's car, and she cracked the windows open so that I could get some fresh air! We listened to some music while we were driving to Brewsters! We finally got to Brewsters and I was scared cause my Mom left the windows cracked, locked the doors, and left me in the car all by myself. Within about 5 minutes, my mom came back and had a puppy Ice Cream for me. I was so glad to see that she got me a present! We went to the tables and sat down, after we were done eating our ice cream my mom gave me some water, and washed my face and paws!

On our way back home the song called "Lost without you" by Robin Thicke came on the radio. My Mommy always sings that song, and I started trying to sing like my mom does! I was barking along to the song while my mom was singing! When we got home, we sat outside in the warm weather for a little while and my grandma shows up! We went inside and I visited with my Grandma and Papa for a little while. I was so happy to see my Uncle Buddy! We played until we couldnt play any longer!

Later that night, me and my mom watched a movie together before going to bed. We watced Aragon, but I fell asleep about half way through the movie! I guess I was really tuckered out after such a long day! I hope me and my mommy can do that again oneday! I expecially want to want some more free puppy ice cream from Brewsters! It was a beautiful day, I enjoy being around my mommy!
