Arrival Story:
Val was rescue from a local shelter. She was in rescue and our care for about two weeks before she lost the battle with her past. The abuse and lack of care took it's toll (blood infections, sever hip damage to the point she could never walk without pain again, and those were just the worst of the problems) and we helped her across the Bridge in September 2006. Val was with us a short time, but she stole out heart. We had planned to adopt and spoil her, and we know she will be waiting for us at the Bridge when God calls us home. All creaturs deserve love and compassion, Val held on just long enough to learn what that was.

It has been almost a year since you can into our lives sweet girl. We still miss of you and think of you. Your picture is still right beside Beau, Jessie and Deboe's. You are gone from our lives, but you are never far from our hearts and memories.
Know that we love you, and will meet you at the Bridge someday. Until then, enjoy the life you were ment to have, and enjoy the company of Beau, your brother that never got to teach you all of his tricks!!!
