Arrival Story:
My neighbors Husky had a litter of puppies, and she gave my brother first pick, since she the only girl in litter he picked out Natasha. My paw-paw was a stray, he was a Husky also. (I think he got out of his yard cuz Huskies were rare in San Antonio at the time)

Bio:
Natasha was my brothers dog, but when moved he couldn't take Natasha with him. She loved to climb fences, so we had a taller fence put up but the gate was still 4ft, so we installed fido shock (it sounds worse than really is, believe me I have shocked by that thing many times when Nat was with us plus technology has evolved since then). She shocked one time & we turned it off--she didn't get anywhere near that thing. One day she saw a cat, she got out to chase it. I'll never forget that awful sound when she was hit by a car. The car never did stop. Natasha died on the spot. It was May 6th 2000. The day Natasha left us, we buried in our back yard. We planted rose bush where she buried and rose bush put out the prettiest roses. After she died her fur-mamma would lay down by where we buried her. (across the fence, mamma was our neighbors dog). After Natasha passed a yellow butterfly always be flying around my daughter & me.

~NINE YEARS~

I been gone 9 years today. It been a bitter sweet day for mom, remembering all the good & crazy times then how I went.
Thank you all who gave me pictures & rosies.
****************************************

When I am gone, release me, let me go-
I have so many things to see and do.
You must not tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you have each shown.
But now it is time I traveled alone.
So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust,
It is only for a while that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart,
I will not be far away, for life goes on,
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can not see or touch me, I will be near.
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear
All my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone,
I will greet you with a smile and "Welcome Home".
Your pet in Heaven.

Thanks Mini for sending that.

Everyday is Earth Day,
If it's cold or wet or hot
Pitch in to save the planet
It's the only one we've got.

~The Easter Story~

Jesus came to compensate
For all the wrongs we do.
He came to earth to die for us,
So we’d be born anew.

"This bitter cup, let it pass from me,"
He cried, in a plaintive voice;
"Yet not My will, but Thine be done;"
He said, in His faithful choice.

The Judas kiss would seal his fate;
He faced a hostile crowd;
The governor, Pilate, saw through it all;
Jesus’ guilt he disavowed.

"I wash my hands of all of this,"
Said Pilate, "Let Him be."
But the crowd yelled "Crucify him now,
And set Barabbas free!"

Pilate yielded to their wish;
And Jesus was led away.
The soldiers beat him, and mocked Him, too,
Yet He continued to obey.

A crown of thorns lay on His head,
As His sentence was carried out;
His hands and feet were pierced with nails,
But He did not scream or shout.

"Father, forgive them for this crime;
They know not what they do."
He said this despite His torment, because,
He was thinking of me and you.

"It is finished," he sighed in His anguish and pain,
As His body gave up to death.
The curtain tore, and darkness fell,
After He took His last breath.

The best of the story is the very last part;
It’s why on Easter we’re filled with pleasure:
Death could not our Savior hold;
His power is beyond all measure.

He rose from the grave, and was seen all around;
Ever since, He’s inspired devotion,
And we’ll be with Him for eternity,
When we get our heavenly promotion.

That’s why Easter is a major event:
He suffered and died in our place.
He rose and forgave us and loves us still,
Our Savior of matchless grace.
