Arrival Story:
Not by choice! It was the CAT LOVER, only type of person! Then,... in walked a friend of mine at my desk at a dental practice in Massachusetts that I ran and plopped her down on my desk. At 5 1/2 weeks of age - all I noticed was long nails and black eyes..... and I was still working as I noted she was kind of cute. She was on her way to her new home - and thought I might like to see..... 5 hours later, there was my friend knocking on the glass door with Stella in his arms. The adoptive family's other dog almost killed her - and he was looking for a dog sitter for a few days while he figfured out the new plan. Well, nedless to say - I WAS THE NEW PLAN! And, until recently - I think she never knew she was anything other than my BABY - or a Big CAT or so they cleverly taught her from day one! She fit right in with the clan - hanging on the edge of the sofe looking out the bayview window - all 100 lbs of her just as the others in pecking order!
