It's my party...

Ok, my 1st birthday is on Monday! I'm soooo excited. Mom is taking me to the new house in the morning. I get to go to Petco and I get to pick out a new treat! How fun...I can't wait. She said she'd make me a special cookie for my birthday and I don't have to share. I also get to nap in the big bed with her. Oh happy day! I can't wait 'til Monday. I hope they have some cool toys at the store.

I got to see Santa Paws...

Well, it is my first Christmas and I got to see Santa Paws today! He was very nice and not too scary. I don't like going places, especially when mommy dresses me up in stupid clothes. BUT, this was important. I had to tell him what I wanted for Christmas. So, I did and he said "ok, no problemo". So, he better pull thru or I'm gonna pee on his sleigh and leave him a "gift". I also asked him if my pal, Denny, could have his mom better real soon.

My First Thanksgiving...

Well, we had visitors and guests. Our auntie Dana came over and we had two boarders, Winston and Spencir. After dinner mom and auntie Dana gave us turkey to munch on and then we all crashed! It was yummy and mommy had left overs we've been munching on for a few days too. YUM! I love turkey day!

My First Halloween...

Well, I didn't like it. All those scary costumes. The monsters ran onto the porch and begged mommy for all my candy! And if you can believe it - she gave it to them. How dare her. I wanted it all to myself. I was just glad when I didn't have to see the monsters anymore. I had to sleep with mommy that night so I wouldn't be scared.

My First Halloween! Oh My Dog !

Holy Canoly! What a night. There ghosts, goblins, muncherkins, scary monsters and all sorts of craziness! I dressed up and helped mom pass out candy on the porch. Spiderman really freaked me out. I was crying and scratching at the door to go in. Mom put me on her lap and I helped her with the passing out of treats. I was good too 'cuz I didn't try to eat any of it!

My Tale of Devotion to Twister...

Twister, you came into our lives after the loss of our dear Chancey Boy. When I found out that I was going to be bringing you home, I couldn't have been more excited. The first time I saw you with your siblings, I was in love with you. Your sweet eyes and beautiful stare captivated me. We've learned how you love to be bossy and rule the roost. You've learned that mommy always has the last word. You have helped all of us, human and canine, to move past the sadness of loss and enjoy the "now".

Leash Walking...

Well, mom took me out yesterday for my first real leash walk. Tinker came too. I did pretty good, but I don't like the loud cars. We walked about 1 mile together and took Tinker home. Then...mommy took me out again - alone! I even sat all by myself when we stopped. YEAH for me!

Today mom and dad packed up me and Hunter and we went to the park. Dad went on a run around the lake and mom took me and Hunter for a walk. We didn't get very far because she is trying to teach us not to pull. Needless to say, daddy passed us near the end of the run. That's ok. We sniffed everything and did some business in the park. We left the geese a gift this time.

I learned to paint...

Today mommy taught me a new trick - painting. I painted my first masterpiece. Mom said I'm her little Picasso. It is very pretty. Abstract, but pretty. I think she's gonna frame it and put it in her office or in the special picture hallway of the house. I think she should put in our room over our leash hangers.

Agility is fun!!!

I finally did a full contact today. I went over the contact trainer (mini A frame) all by myself! I even got to try the big A frame. I tried the teeter and the dog walk too. That teeter is gonna take a better treat. I did the jump, the tire and my favorite - the tunnel!!!!! I'm starting to like this.
