As Sweet As Ever

Well Abby is fast approaching her 5th birthday. She is still as special as ever. She is always proving how smart she is everyday. The Cat thinks she rules too:)

I love having this special friend by my side everyday. She still loves her playtime and every night she sits in the living room making sure we know its that time too. Her bark alert is so clear and that means I must drop what I am doing and make her first place!

Having Abbey around has been like having an Oreo blizzard everyday! She is so fun and so loving....

I thank God for such a beautiful dog!

I am 4 years old

Life with Abby goes by fast. She has really gotten into a routine. Her walks are expected and she loves them. There is one dog in the neighborhood that she has become friends with. He comes over to visit every now and then and when we walk by his house he lets her know that he cares. Abby keeps the cat on his toes. If the cat acts up or seems a bit out of line she gives him instructions.
Having a dog like Abby has been a true blessing. I hope she knows just how much she means to us. What a great watch dog & friend she is.

Happy & Content

The Summer is moving right along and Abby is doing her best to stay cool! Her carseat didn't work out but we did buy her a car restraint to help keep her safely secured when she does ride in the car. I love how she enjoys her stroller...That has to be the best investment for her and I. Now we can go on longer walks and I don't carry her anymore...I am so thankful for this special doggie. God sure blesses me everyday with her!

Today I am 3

Today Abby is 3 years old! I can't believe it! What a joy Abby is to have! We will be celebrating her life sometime this evening. She has a cupcake waiting for her and of course a few gifts...which she sniffed out herself...literally...lol
I hope she will like her carseat. This is her biggest gift and hopefully the one that will keep her safe and sound when we travel in the car.

Well Life has been better with Abby and each day I thank God for another one of His good and perfect gifts...

Enjoying life with Abby

I am so thankful that Abby and I get to share the beautiful scenery everyday. Her enthusiasm rubs off on me and I really believe she enjoys observing me as I watch and listen to the sounds & sights too. Life is good with Abby!

Looking at nature through Abby's eyes

After our morning walk Abby and I usually take a few minutes to rest and enjoy our natural surroundings. This morning I found myself having a greater apprecation for the sights and sounds that we both were witnessing. . The wonder of God's creation is something I value and thank Him for the opportunity that she and I had and have to view & listen it! I am so thankful I have a friend to share it with. Abby is a dear, dear, friend!
