He has a soft cuddly dachshund toy that we call BoBo and he knows it by name. I have repaired that toy so many times that it's just pieced together now. I wish I could find another just like it so I can throw this dirty mangled toy in the garbage.
Favorite Food:
Charlie loves to eat and will eat almost anything. I don't think he has a favorite. He loves beef, chicken, duck, fish, veggies -- pretty much anything. We generally feed him healthy organic food.
Favorite Walk:
He loves walking all around the cul-de-sacs in the neighborhood we live in.
Best Tricks:
If you say where is BoBo he will find his toy and bring it to you.
Arrival Story:
I had put in an application to adopt an old and blind female Bulldog with a Florida Bulldog Rescue organization and was told that she didn't get along with tiny dogs and since I have a delightful little Chihuahua named Heidi I couldn't adopt her.
A couple of days later I heard back from the Rescue organization and was told that they just got a 4-month old male Bulldog pup in and would I want him. Damn YES I wanted him.
Charlie was purchased at a petshop in a mall by a young couple. She saw him and said.."Ooo, he's so cute, I want him.." so her boyfriend bought him for her. A week or so later they split up and she gave the puppy back to her ex-boyfriend. The kid couldn't take care of him so his mother turned him in to Rescue.
So that's how I ended up with Charlie.
Bio:
Charlie gets what we call the "Zoomies." After he goes out and goes to the bathroom he comes in and runs around the place like a crazy dog. He bumps into things, runs around the couches and dashes under tables. He leaps over chairs and slams into walls. It's the craziest thing you've ever seen. It only lasts for a minute or so but during that time we call him Hurricane Charlie.
