Arrival Story:
I got Lucie from a breeder when she was 2. Her name at that time was "Fresca." There were several young adult dals there but Lucie was so sweet I couldn't resist. The breeder said " she's so laid back you will have to put a mirror under her nose to make sure she is breathing." The first thing I did was change her name from Fresca to Lucie.
Bio:
Lucie is a very sweet girl. She has 2 other dal sisters (Indi and Chloe) ; she gladly lets them compete for alpha status. She is low maintenance and wonderful with everyone. People often say she is the most laid back dog they have ever seen. Her rear end doesn't work as well as it used to and she has trouble with stairs. She also has accidents in the house, but being the perfect lady, she only goes on the old towels we have on the floor.
POSTSCRIPT: Sadly, we lost Lucie on March 23, 2007 at the age of 14. We received a card from a friend who wrote "Lucie was the sweetest dalmatian who ever lived." There is nothing more to say.
