FINAL tally FUR k9 cop corral challenge.. to benefit IMHA- RESEARCH

OK MATES, here is the tally, in LESS than a HOUR of the close of our sweet GSD k9 cop's birthday corral challenge..

HAPPY WOOFDAY SWEET ONE & MANY MORE, with PEACE & LOVE.. THANK YOU DARLING, FUR believing in us & being such a champion. we ask again FUR you to come forward and BOL so others can know & LOVE you like we do.

we believe that we wrote about it 1st on 17 September 08.
mica's gained a few corrals, but remained all along at #6..

to the best of my recollection, mirra jumped from #20 to #16,

then the purple girls rounded out the 3 way grouping from #23 to #20..

you may or may not recall the parameters, but were essentially:

the 1k offer came if all 3 made it to the TOP 10 numbers, with half that amount $500/IF the m&m's made it.. it was ALWAYS A LONGSHOT, but we never shy away from the chance to RAISE AWARENESS OF IMHA NOR RAISE FUNDS FUR PREVENTION AND A CURE.

AND WHY WOULD WE????

but it's time to celebrate a little mates.

we want to thank the mates who tried to help us, 1st, by rallying others!
some did it a # of times too. their support and earnest belief in mica's cause not only brings tears to mom's eyes but reflects in them how special these mates truly are to us.

then, of course, those who offered their 3 way corral for mica's charity. our quest FUR a cure for what took mica from us.

we most wish to thank the mates who did what they could, by not leaving the chance for research up to ONE DOG TO PUT UP ALL THE DOLLARS, like he offered to, and has, SO generously before.

DOES THIS K9 COP ROCK, OR WHAT?

these mates offered their support willingly, and selflessly FUR others, like our k9 cop benefactor in Mica's name, and some made donations in honor of loved ones lost to IMHA or forced to live with it, because there IS NO CURE..

those were: Angel Max, Angel Miracle, Daisy Mae and Angus the Warrior to name a few.

then Angel Asena's mum, Donna, wrote a blog challenge (see mica's diary).. and raised nearly 300$ in less than a day, but THEN followed that with a $5 gift atop ANY dog or cat's donation.. be it a dollar, 10 or a thousand..

a few dogs & cats met that challenge.. 26 actually!!
that meant, $130 extra dollars were raised, because of Smiling Sena & the mates who gave on behalf of others, which IS WHAT THIS QUEST IS ALL ABOUT.

OTHERS.

so before you write and ask, NO we WON'T receive the BIG DOLLARS, but we still do appreciate the effort on everyfur's account in hoping we would prevail, by helping us in some way.
