Arrival Story:
She was on a farm chained to a fence awaiting the death penalty for killing a chick. My husband who normally says "No" to everything took one look at this matted, dusty 9 month old pup with no training and absolutely no manners and proclaimed they were not killing it and that he was going to take it. So off to home we go...with a pup! This was one of the best choices we have ever made in our lives. She is our baby and an important part of the family.

Not sharing the Chicken!

Well first let me say I like to wander, I like to run, I like to escape and I don't like to listen!

My furless parents are super careful not to leave any oppurtunities for me to make a run for it...dang them.

Yesterday though Mom took me to lunch with her at KFC (Chicken!). On our way home we stopped and ate our snacks and teased some seagulls outside the car. I talked to them and tried getting them to come over closer but they wouldn't unless I shared my chicken....NOT HAPPENING.

When we got home Mom got out of the car and her hands were full. I knew she had to go set things down and open the gate to the yard so I thought I would help. Out of the car I jumped, over Mom's arms and everything she was holding. I went over to the gate but it was shut and Mom was telling me to sit down. So I went over to help her with her stuff she dropped. She pet me and kissed my nose (made me sneeze) telling me I was a good dog. Than I went back to the gate and sat down.

We went into the house and she hugged me some more! She sure was being nice. I didn't want to tell her I didn't run off because I knew she had more Chicken and Corn!

Now what fun would that be?

So in the past week my humans have become so giving. They didn't realize I have been watching them open doors and gates! So this week I started sampling everything....open gate, explore surroundings. Open front door, meet cool people. They don't seem to look very well over my encounters but I have been good...even in the furniture store earlier this week...I didn't jump on a single couch....and there were LOTS!

Mom finally put up more photos!

When I ran in to see what mom was giggling about I saw that she was going through old photos....like when I was checking out the christmas tree or when the loud small bi-ped put a feather thing on me....it was soft and I liked it! Anyhowl I hope you like them....Wooo's to you
