Leave a bone for Sassie 1992-2009

Special Gift Box:

Quick Bio:
 Birthday: March 17th 1992
 Likes: Sleeping and barking

Pet-Peeves: Anyone that gets close to her while she is sleeping

Favorite Toy: Her little rainbow cat balls

Favorite Food: Chicken, I can eat my weight in the stuff. AND the little half and half creamers restaurants have for coffee. I put a small hole in them and nurse them lilke a bottle.

Favorite Walk: Anywhere I can smell where all the boys have been. Will smell every blade of grass.

Best Tricks: Does barking count?

Arrival Story: My mom went into a pet store to get a cat and came out with me. It was the first time my mom bought a dog, she didn't believe in it before, but she had always wanted a Pom and I was this beautiful little red fur ball. The owner said just hold her, she knew better, but did anyway, and sure enough when she left the store she had me and no kitten. I have never disappointed her. I am even very cat like. I love to be high, have a very cat like disposition. I grace you with my presence, when I choose. My favorite toy has always been a little foam rainbow ball, originally designed to be a cat toy.

Bio: I'm getting pretty old now, 15 years as of the 17th of March, 2007, and like all old people like to nod off continually. Get really cranky when you violate my space, especially if I am asleep. I truly dislike my brother, Hoss. He is young and has too much energy for me.

Forums Motto: Sassie and cat like.

I will be 16 on the 17th of March. I never had a beau before. Back in October last year I was diagnosed with cancer. Mom went to Dogster groups asking for good thoughts, the power of paws and the Power of Prayer. As everyone knows my surgery was a tremendous success and they got all of the bad cells. In the process of all this drama in my life, I met the pup of my dreams. I never dreamed at my age I would find someone. I couldn't believe it. Right at first I thought he was just being nice to an old lady, cuz he is such a charmer, but NO he was serious. At that time I was feeling kinda old, but with all the gifts of love, the attention, and love he has given me I feel like a teenager again.
You see all the gifts he's sent me. Gifts of luxury he thinks I deserve. He is my knight in shining armor.
So the other day I came in from outside, ready to take my afternoon nap. I headed for the sofa where my luxurious bed is, and WHAT do I find? My feline FAT brother is sleeping in my bed. I felt like the baby bear in Goldilocks and the Three Bears. I barked and barked. He just kinda opened one eye and looked at me and went back to sleep. Hmmph! I grabbed the camera for evidence and went and told mom. She came to see what I was in such a dither about. She laughed and laughed, took the camera away from me and put that fat cat on the floor. I then, very indignantly, climbed into my bed and took my nap. The nerve of that cat. If you look you can see my evidence.

• Who looks at you with adoration and love always?
• Who can make you smile and calm your nerves no matter what the world throws at you?
• Who loves you no matter what?
• Who never challenges what you say, no matter how dumb it may sound?
• Who would follow you to the end of the earth?
• Who is always ecstatic when you come home?
• Who constantly says “I Love You” without speaking a word?
• Who will truly stand by you for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health?

This is my 15th Christmas and it was the best one ever.
Everyone always tells my mom that she is so hard to shop for. But mom knows that is not true. If you care enough for her to know her, you know all the things she would most love for a gift.
That said to say, my friends and my Pappy care enough and know me well enough to get me things I will always cherish in my heart.
My Prince and Knight in Shining Armor knows how much I love to lie around in the 3 R's. Royal, regal and reigning. He got me a blanket with my very own name on it. It says Princess Sassie in bling bling lettering and it is soft on one side and silk on the underside, the silk used only on royalty. And a beautiful bowl shaped in a heart that says Princess. I think she might have sent a toy to Hoss too. She knows how much he loves to play tug-o-war, so she sent a rope toy that both my little brothers can play with.
Then I'm in a group called Pommie Love and we had a gift exchange with a secret Santa drawing. Tallullah Barkhead drew me and she helped her mommy make me another beautiful blanket with a big "S" on it. LuLu told me her mommy drug a machine out to make it that she hadn't had out in years. I love it. It is soooo soft. And she sent me some dehydrated ice cream. Boy is it good. You just add a tiny bit of water and voila, you have melted ice cream. How neat is that?
My brothers good friend in Georgia even sent me some food designed especially for the senior puppies. I haven't been able to talk mom into chewing it up for me yet though.
I guess that is enough about me for right now. I pray everyone has a really Happy New Year
Pommie kisses.....Sassie
