Arrival Story:
Kit entered our lives by curling up in my lap and taking a nap at a local Adoption fair. She is extremely shy and it has taken many months and LOTS of patience to warm up to Matt and I. After chewing on stair banisters, tearing up carpets, and many window sills later she has turned out to be a great dog. We were one week away from returning her back to the rescue. Before doing so we enrolled her into to PetSmarts training and cleared up the health issue of crystals in her urine. After this she became a great dog and couldn't imagine not having her in our lives! Madra is happy too- she is very protective of her, especially at the vets. Kit has now reached a good dog status-meaning she no longer need to be crated during the day!!
