My Diary

It's almost my birthday!

Well I am going to be 4 this September 10th and I am pretty lucky that my mommy and daddy love me as much as they do! My daddy gave me a bath last night because after I go in the lake I stink! And daddy likes to sneak me up on the bed- so I have to be clean or I may get the sheets dirty and those are always clean!
I am hoping that for my birthday I get a new toy- even though all I am allowed to have are Kongs- sometimes its nice to get a new ball to play with.
I really don't need much else my mommy and daddy take great care of me and usually get me a little something here and there. I know that they love me! They keep talking about a puppy friend and make me turn my head sideways- and I just don't think that my mommy thinks its a good idea. She loves dogs, but knows how much more work it would be!

My New House!

My mommy and daddy have brought me back home after a year of living at the lake house. That was the longest vacation I have ever taken (especially in dog years). My daddy has bought me a house with a huge backyard that I might say is great for running hot laps! I love doing that from time to time :) I have been getting caught in the mulch though and they get very upset with me because they don't want me to get a belly ache from eating the mulch, but it is so tempting..... they are constantly throwing those noisey and scary pop cans with marbles inside! Yikes

They have stacked two beds one on top of another and they like to call it my double decker bed- and I must say it is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.

My Grandpa used to feed me peanuts and give me lemonaid and Diet Dr. Pepper- and so now I keep wanting snacks that my mommy and daddy know that I shouldn't have. The pantry door can not ever go un-noticed!

My life today

I am temporarily living at my Grandma and Grandpas house until my Mommy and Daddy get out of their apartment and buy a house with a big back yard for me to run in. I actually don't have it too bad right now! I live in a nice house on a lake! I have friends all around me. One side there is Maltby and Peanut they are funny- sometimes I sneak around the fence (in the water) to go play when Grandma and Grandpa turn their backs for a second. I like to sit by the fence on the other side of the yard where 3 cats live - with hopes that I may catch a glimpse of one of them. Sixers (the black and white cat) likes to tease me.....he will walk around in his yard and tease me. Sometimes when I am in the house he will come over and sit in the window on the outside of the house....or on my patio. He is mean to me!
I have also discovered what squirels are! We have black, grey and brown squirrels out here that also like to tease me. It makes me sit in the doorwall and cry and drive everyone nutz!
My Grandma loves me- she lets me get up on the bed in the morning after my Grandpa goes to work. That is my favorite part of the day I think. I love to sleep under the covers and never want to get up.
Well time to go take my morning nap in the sunshine through the doorwall!
