Anything he can catch - squeakers, balls, you name it this dog can and will catch anything mid-air.

Loves the dog park as there are so many new people and dogs to meet.

Shaking a paw, catching food mid-air, recently learned to "heel!" like a superstar!

Arrival Story:
Blazes former owners called me the day after I lost Argo. Blaze had been living in their garage for 3 years and they knew he deserved a better quality of life. I found an adoptive home for him and made arrangements to have him transported from New Jersey to Buffalo NY, where my husband and I picked him up and drove him across the border to Ontario. We took him to the adopters home and spent some time with them and headed home ourselves. The next day, the "adopter" called me in tears and backed out of the placement. My husband and I had NEVER planned on getting another dog, especially so soon after losing my great love Argo, but we went and picked him up from them and tried to figure out a Plan B. As luck would have it, we are Plan B!

Bio:
Blaze is a 9 year old owner surrender who came from a neglect situation, but was fortunate in that his previous owners really did love him. He was overweight and had a raging skin infection when he arrived, but he has lost 10 pounds and his skin has dramatically improved. He is going to obedience school and is the best dog in the whole class despite the fact that he looks like a junkyard dog!
