Arrival Story:
A friend called the house because he knows I love to rescue animals. A couple where getting seperated and the guy told her he was send the dog to the pound if it didn't find a home the next day. These people paid $700.00 for her. Well, I try the Humane Society as the very last resort. So, we took her in. The thing is, my husband fell in love with her. He loves the big dogs. But unfortunately Caution doesn't get along with other big dogs. I have tried my best to fix this with her. But we were not going to have another Zeke/Lobo situation. And well, trying to keep two dogs that weigh as much as I do apart is very stressful. I didn't want anyone of them to get hurt. So, I put a sign outside St. Bernard puppy for sale. Well, some neighbors down the road came by and gave me a story of how they used to have 3 of them. Had to feed them out of a bathtub. But they fell on hard times (like alot of us) and they lost their house and had to get rid of the dogs. They said it absolutely broke their hearts. So I ended up giving them the dog for free. She would of had a home here if Caution could behave herself. And I could of sold her and made some money, but I just wanted her to have a good home. She was a sweetheart.
