Arrival Story:
Angie is approximately a 3-4 yrs old 45 lbs girl. She was found wandering stray with a lump on her front left leg. We were able to intervene and prevent her from being taken to the pound where she would have been euthanized right away. After going to one of our vets, her leg injury was found to be an abscess and she was put on medicine to allow it to heal. Eventually it did and now she is in great health. A very pretty brownish color. Has a great temperament.....loves to be near people! Loves squeaker toys and kongs filled with peanut butter. So far has shown no aggression toward other dogs but definitely is a dominant female and would be best in a home as an only dog or with a submissive male. She has been altered. She is vaccinated for distemper/parvo and bordatella, heartworm tested and given monthly prevention, are dewormed, and given flea prevention. Sponsorship is available if a rescue commits to admitting this dog. Transport is available to midwest or east coast if rescue is approved. Angie's time is coming to an end very quickly and she desperately needs some help
