Arrival Story:
minnow came from a shelter in deerfield called "orphans of the storm." our last dog was also a shelter dog from the same place. minnow's former family surrendered her when they moved to california. minnow received a nasty cut on her face while she was in the slammer, from her "cellmate," who didn't like how she looked. she has a wee scar now on her cheek from the "bad dog." we almost didn't get her, as another family was also interested in adopting her. the adoption counselor, however, said to nevermind those people, as they were regularly in and could never settle on anydog. the first thing minnow did upon arriving at her new home was harrass our pet rabbits. we had to put up cardboard all around their house so that they could get some peace from her. in 6 years she's managed to learn that bunnies are not really ALL that.
