Playing with his sister, Cadence

Being put in his cage when Mommy and Daddy have to go to work or to sleep

Favorite Toy:
Any toy his sister, Cadence, is playing with

Favorite Food:
He likes any food we give him, but his favorite treats are Beggin' Strips and the treats that are made for giving your pets medicine (pills specifically), only he likes them as regular treats... hahaha :)

Favorite Walk:
Any walk is Gunner's favorite walk

Best Tricks:
He knows how to sit, lay down, and box with his daddy.

Arrival Story:
We already had our Mini Schnauzer, Cadence, when we moved to Austin, and we decided she needed a playmate. His daddy has always wanted a boxer, so we googled boxers to see if there were any for sale in our area. Well, we found a family that had just had a litter of 3 puppies so when we called, they just had the boy (now known as Gunner) left. We immediately drove to their house and picked up our new baby. He was 7 weeks old when we got him. :)

Well, Gunner Boy is definitely a digger!!! We just realized that when we moved into our new house... before now he's always lived in an apartment, so we didn't have this problem.... GREAT!

Here are the rules of the game. Make a diary entry, giving seven pawsome facts about yourself! Choose seven pals to tag, and list them last! Post the rules of the game. Send your pals a pawmail or rosette telling them they have been tagged to play the game!

My seven facts are:

1. My favorite treats are Beggin' Strips!

2. I drool a lot when I get hot!

3. I love playing tug-of-war with my daddy!

4. I love cuddling with my mommy!

5. I love digging!!!

6. I know exactly what faces to give to get out of any sticky situation!

7. My mommy says I'm the cutest Boxer alive (but she's a little bias)! :)

I was tagged back by Phoenix

The 7 pups I am tagging are: Phoenix, Bull-Boy, Rochester, Maximus, Buster, Cirrus, and Oscar Lincoln Somerville!

The Half Breed

They call me a Boxer,
But I'm a Half-Breed.
Part Boxer of course,
and part people indeed.

Anyone who owns me knows it's true.
We're so close to being people,
we're like part of you.
"He's one of the family,"
you've heard people say.
"Don't know how we'll manage when he passes away."

But they'll get another Boxer,
a pure bred at first.
Not the most well-behaved puppy,
but far from the worst.

Then the change will take place,
the same as before.
They'll end up with the same human HALF-BREED once more!

Birthday Surprise!!!

Well, my birthday was this past Saturday, and mommy and daddy got me these really cool things that float in the air!!! They are clear circular floaty things, that I think mommy and daddy called bubbles...

Well, whatever they are... I LOVE THEM! They are so fun to chase, and every now and then I can catch one... but when I catch one, it disappears.... very strange!!!

They also got me and Cadence Girl two bones. When mommy brought them home, she filled them up with water, and put them in the freezer... I thought that was kind of odd, but when she gave them to us later, they were very very cold!!! I loved it because it reminded me of when mommy gives us ice cubes!! We love ice cubes!!! Anywho... I don't think I played with it the right way because when I finally got through to the ice, mommy took it away and threw it in the trashcan... I heard her tell daddy, "Look what Gunner did... he chewed right through it!" Maybe I was just suppose to lick the bone and drink the water as it melted... who knows... all I know is we are down to one bone, and Cadence is so stingy, I probably won't ever get to play with it! It's ok though because mommy will just give me ice cubes, and I know what to do with those! :)

Well, I hope everydog is having a great day!!

Lotsa licks & love,
Gunner Boy
