Butters crossed the rainbow bridge today 1/17/2011. This is a sad day for my wife and I, But we know butters is in a better place now. He can wear his silver harness and run and play without pain.
We will miss you butters you can't be replaced.

Butters would like it if his fans could help other dogs like him find a loving home free of abuse by donating what ever they can to "Tails Of The Tundra" .

The Camp Kevin Experience

This was my first experience away from my human parents. Imoya and I went to Camp Kevin! She has told me all about it and it sounded like a lot of fun. And guess what, IT WAS! There is a big fenced in back yard with lots of chipmunks to sniff out, many treats, and many activities. Friday was SciFi night. Saturday was romp with Imoya, treats, sniffing for chipminks, more treats, napping, attach the leather loves, and more treats. Sunday was chew Uncle Chewy (aka Kevin), treats, animal planet TV, sniffing the wind in t he yard, more treats, napping, attack the gloves again. And of course, chase Imoya :). I had a wonderful time at camp Kevin, but I was very happy to see Mom and Dad when they came on Sunday. I missed them and our home.

Furever Home Update

Adjusting to my new home is moving along smoothly! My new Dad is fun to play with. And Imoya has even tried to play with me. But I'm not sure if she's a rough or gentle player. Maybe once I figure it out, I'll decide if I want to play with her.

I met both sets of grandparents last weekend. They are all very nice. My grandmother got me a new stuffed toy! I still don't know what all the fuss is about these dog toys. My sister, Imoya, went crazy over her new toy. Maybe if I watch her, I can learn what I'm supposed to do with these things.

I even met my Mom's brother during the week. My extended family is turning about to be very friendly and everybody loves to pet me. Even all of the kids in the neighborhood come running up to me to give me a little pat. Imoya gives them little play growl when she wants some attention from them.

Paws out.

IMPORTANT NEWS!!!

It was a busy weekend for me folks and I have some REALLY important news to share.... I WAS ADOPTED! So, mark your calendars for July 28th is my very own Gotcha Day! I share a home with a very sweet dog that was also a foster dog in Tails of the Tundra and adopted out in 2003, her name is Imoya.

I am adjusting pretty well for them.. they are very nice people here. As I understand it we will be doing lots of traveling, camping and stufff like that. AND... they really don't seem like the sort of folks who will dress me up! I even PLAYED with a tennis ball on Sunday.

They also met some other dogs too.. one dog named Rocco (as I understand it he found his home with a high energy dog later in the day), and another pup named Zodiac. But it was ME they fell in love with!

My foster mommy made them PROMISE to bring me to the hike. I think I saw her even shed a tear or two as she left. I'll be okay foster momma!

I'll be sure to check in when I can and let everyone know how I am doing. Back to getting situated in my new home!
