Yesterday was my birthday. I was four years old! It was the bestest birthday I have ever had. The reason is that I am in my forever home. My Mom absoloutely worships the ground I walk on and caters to my every whim. She sung Happy Birthday to me and told me that Friday I will have my party. We are going to Louisville to stay with Aunt Jen and Uncle Mike and will get up Saturday and go to New Albany to PugTober Fest.
Aunt Jen said we will celebrate my birthday with cakes and prezzies!! I am so excited. Of course, Baby Zoe is my BFF and all of them are my cousins. We are going to have a wonderful "girl's night" and may even let my dancing partner, Bozzie stay up with us.

I am so mad!! Barney just thinks he's all that and more!!! Just because he so big and fat and strong, Trayton got to sit on his back and they had their pictures taken together. Just makes me sick. It should have been ME getting my picture made with that cute baby! Anyway, Trayton and Ava like ME best of all! Not Barney! Yuck, I hate boys!!!!!

Hi Everyone: It's Bella Marie! I've been a very busy girl. I've settled into my new forever home just like I've always lived there. They really give me a lot of attention, so I don't have to pee on their bed, like I did in my old home. I have all kinds of toys and dresses, collars, harnesses, necklaces, all kinds of neat stuff. I get to go visiting sometimes and I LOVE to go!
Mom took me to Pugpalooza last month and I won first place in the Best Tricks category! Mom was very proud of me. I placed second place in Curliest Tail and won for Furtherest Traveled.
I got to spend the night with my favorite cousins, The Steinmacher Crew. Let me tell you all about my adventure.....
It began when Mom got off work early. She came home, finished packing and gave me a bath. Then we went to Aunt Tracy's house. A big storm hit about the time we arrived so we had to sit at her house and wait for it to pass over. We hit the road about 45 minutes later than we had planned and had to drive pretty slow. We kept hitting the same storm over and over again on the way up to Louisville. We finally arrived at the Steinmacher house and I was so glad to see my cousins again; Baby Zoe, Penny Lou and my dancing partner, Sir Bozworth (Bozzie). I let Aunt Jen and Uncle Mike hold me and love on me and I played and played. Bozzie and I danced together for treats. When it was time to go to bed, I slept with Aunt Jen, Zoe and Penny Lou. We talked girl talk and had a great time.
The next morning we got up and left for New Albany. We got there and I have never saw so many dogs in one place! Mom put me in something she called the Pug Pen with a lot of other dogs. We played and had a great time too. I got to see Diana and Ben, who drove to Columbus, IN from Louisville to pick me up from Amy and Annie, who I also saw there.
Amy's Mom made Annabelle and me little purple dresses that look just alike. We had our picture made together and Mom will post it on my page. We were like identical twins (if people didn't see us side by side). One friend of my Mom's petted both of us at different times, but thought he was always petting the same dog!! BOL!! He didn't realize there was two of us until he saw the pictures!
Mom made a Tribute Board for the event that has picture of KPR dogs that have went to the Bridge. She posted some pictures of it on Ethel Marie's page. We had a great time at Pugpalooza but we were really tired by the time we got home about 9:00 Saturday night! I'll write more later! Love everyone, Bella Marie

I was just tagged by one of my good fur friends, Gibson
The Rules
(Hint: Copy and paste the rules so you don't have to type them again):
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged need to post in their diary the rules and their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!
Seven Random Facts About Me:
1. I have a twin in KPR, Annabelle Pug, who lives in Indy! We are both young, black, alpha females.
2. Annabelle Pug and I have matching dresses that her grandma made for us.
3. I love to get under the covers to sleep, even when it's hot!!
4. I was given my middle name, Marie, to honor my sister, Ethel Marie who went to Rainbow Bridge.
5. A pug shower was thrown for me and my Mom when she adopted me.
6. I am great with babies, even though that's why my old family say they surrendered me.
7. I used to be a Hoosier, but now I'm a Southern Belle!
The seven dogs I choose to tag are:
1. Maypelle
2. Ossie Pearl
3. Claire
4. Jenny Renee
5. Calvin Wilson
6. Betty
7. Starlett
Have fun!

Hi Everyone: My name is Annabella Marie, but you can call me Bella or Bella Marie. I am three years old. My birthday is October 1st. I came to my new home through Kentuckiana Pug Rescue. My Mommy was so sad when she got me, because of her Ethel Marie going to Rainbow Bridge. Now she is laughing again. Mom says that I am a little clown. I love to play with my Goober Head brother, Barney. I also love to carry my stuffed toys all around the house. Barney and I also spend a lot of time playing tug of war. I win about half the time, even though he is twice my size.
I had to travel a long way to get to my Mommy. I started out in Muncie, IN. One of Mommy's friends, Amy (Annabelle Pug's Mom), the IN Adoption Coordinator for KPR, called Mom and told her all about me. She asked Mom if she would like to adopt me and Mom said yes. Amy was so excited for Mom, but poor Mom couldn't get very excited. She was so upset about having to send Ethel Marie to the Bridge. Amy said she was excited enough for both of them!
Amy came and picked me up where I was living, and went back to Indianapolis with me. There another very nice lady, Annie, joined her. They took me to Columbus, IN where a very nice family from Louisville met them. The Waddler/Darby family was so nice to come and take me to Louisville. Once in Louisville, they took me to my Aunt Jenn's. She is the pug Mom of Baby Zoe, Bozzie and Penny Lou. I had a great time playing with my "cousins" and loving on Aunt Jenn and Uncle Mike! They kept me until last Friday and then traveled an hour and a half to meet my Mom and Dad. Ossie Pearl's Mom, Aunt Laura, had the great idea to throw Mommy a "puggy shower" so Aunt Jenn brought a lot of presents with her when we met Mommy. I have new toys, new dresses, a new harnass and leash (and it's pink!!) shampoo, just all kinds of great stuff.
I had a great time staying with Baby Zoe, Bozzie and Penny Lou. We played and had a lot of fun. I will get to go back and spend the night with them in May the night before Pugpalooza. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again. I will also get to meet Annabell Pug at Pugpalooza. She is Aunt Amy's black female pug. We are going to get our picture made together!!
I am having a lot of adventures at my new home and I love new life. I'll write again soon. Love, Bella Marie
