Arrival Story:
Vienna was a foster dog with Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue. She came into rescue with her sister; both were scared little girls. I spent some time with both dogs, but I bonded with Vienna during a weekend trip to an event in Maryland. Vienna officially became a member of my family on March 31, 2007 .

Bio:
Vienna's coloring has changed over the past year. She's still mostly white, but more tan is coming in every day. She also has several black hairs, which Mommy Jodi says belong to Lou Lou, Vienna's sister who died in April, 2007. I noticed the first black hair a few days after Lou Lou died, so maybe!

WE GOT SNOW!!!!!!

It snowed Sunday night into Monday, and Mommy came home early from work on Monday so we could play. We only got 6 inches, but I had so much fun! First, I ran around the yard, and then Mommy threw snowballs to me. Then, we went for a walk, and I got to play with my little buddy Rocket. When we got back home, Mommy threw more snowballs for me to chase.
I hope the snow stays around for a bit because I LOVE playing in the snow and chasing snow balls!!!

Mommy just confirmed the date, and the 7th annual Tails on the Trails event is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Warminster Community Park in Warminster, PA.

Tails on the Trails is a fundraising hike and picnic to raise funds for the dogs rescued by Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue. This will be my third event, and I just can't wait!

Keep an eye out on the rescue's website (www.siberescue.com) or at www.huskytailsonthetrails.com for more information. In the meantime, you can check out pictures from previous years' events.

Hope to see you there!!
