Arrival Story:
Bella was rescued from the shelter, where she came in stray, skin and bones, and pregnant. She had 4 babies, one of which died at the shelter. We rescued her and the rest of her litter. We spayed/neutered everyone, and found homes for the puppies, and kept Bella as our own. She had entropian eyes which required 3 surgeries to finally correct.
When we first got her, she would hang her head so humbly in the hopes that the next touch would be a positive one. Flash forward 2 years later, and Bella is a confident and beautiful girl. She enjoys her big yard and the children at our home. She will protect the children with her life if need be and is a very loving and loyal companion to us. She makes us laugh, and makes our house a home. She has a lethal tail and will beat you senseless with it if you don't watch out. She is smart as a whip and we feel very fortunate to have her.
