good song

this song was PERFECT for louis' page. and i just found it at random...just like on Reggie and Izzabelle's pages. We all started bawling when we saw that page with the song, because it's TRUE! I dream about Louis a lot and I wish he was here...some parts don't fit, but just ignore them.

Izzabelle and Reggie: you two have BIG footsteps to follow. Izzabelle, you must follow Louis' training and agilitly, and Reggie, you need to learn how to be lazy, need your tummy rubbed, destroy every toy you find, and most importanly, love everybody and everything in sight and learn to give the most a dog could ever give to a person.

Lord, I pray that they can do these things in loving memory of Louis, and give him a hug for me

how he died

yesterday we left the house to go to a wedding 4 hours away. We were going to be gone for the whole day. We kicked Louis and Izzabelle out of the garage and we set off. When we got back Louis was not there. We thought that he was sleeping but today he still wasn't home. We looked all over and we found him dead. For some reason he had run away and went to the worst place for a dog. He was shot. It really wasn't the man's fault, though and we do not blame him. The man is old and lonely and was just trying to protect himself. I was not there at the time, but I am sort of glad I wasn't. It is really hard for me to let go of Louis and I still can't get it into my head that he's not here anymore. I know that I will eventually see him at the pearly gates, but that's too far away for me. I guess everything that has happened, getting Izzabelle, having Izzabelle get ran over and living, having friend's dogs die, have all just been getting ready for having Louis die. I am glad, though when we were driving away all that I could think of was God, I love that dog. Izzabelle is sure lucky that she likes hugs because she's going to get a whole lot of them from now on. Louis' collar is going to Izzabelle for training and we will remember him whenever we train Izzabelle. Please, keep us in your prayers.

What is happening?!

It is April and FINALLY getting warmer out and all of the snow has melted! Aaaaaah, now I can finally lay on the nice, warm grass. I make a quick ssstttreeetttcccchhh and go outside. I couldn't believe my eyes! Everywhere the eye could see there was white! I blinked, but it was still there! I finally come to my senses and realize that it is snow! It must have snowed last night! I decide it is time for bed.

too cold

today is December and I have been sleeping in my kennel almost for 2 whole hours! It is not very comfortable because Izzabelle, in the next kennel, keeps moving around in her sleep! You would think that she would need a break from having to be on the move all of the time! Here comes Dana and Ashly! I jump out of "bed" to go greet them. When I take one step outside I decide that they can wait a few hours. So I go back to bed. After a while, I get tired of snoozing so I decide they are ready for their greeting. I go outside and they are not there!
