this my niece's foster dog. she got her last Saturday March 10.
i haven't met her, but i've heard Susan is very sweet, happy dog. she was found in the lobby of a house by the animal control people. her humans just abandoned her.
my niece wants to have her own dog -- but she feels, she's not ready for one... but she checks Petfinder religiously. my niece loves shih tzu and her first dog is Emma(shih tzu). her father kept Emma and will not part with her. so she saw this poor little darling Susan and felt drawn to her. poor thing was housed with big mean dogs. she was absolutely terrified and shell-shocked. my niece kept going back to visit Susan and the lady asked to take her to foster Susan. Susan needs extensive surgery for tumors and cysts. so my niece will foster her for now.
UPDATE.
Susan is longer foster but a full fleged dog with forever home doggie. officially, she's ours!!! yes.
