Busy Busy Busy

Wow were do I start……

Mom has been keeping Nellie and I very busy.

A few Mondays ago we went to play with Tucker and Lexie (Mommy friend’s boykin spaniels). We had so much fun. That Tuesday Dad took us his friends house and we played with his friend’s German short hair pointer. Before that Dad took as too the lake we chased geese and had a quick swim. And mom has been taking us to the park.

This week we went to the vet. I will let Nellie tell you a little more about that since it involved her more than it did me.

LAST night Mom and Dad took us for a small vanilla ice cream. It was great. This was Nellie’s first experience with ice cream that we know of.

What new in a day and a life of Winston

Life has been crazy. I finished school right before thanks giving. I did well but Mom didn't take me back to take my canine good citizens test. Mom didn't feel as comfortable as she did in the first class.

Christmas was fun, Santa brought a lot of toys. But the most exciting News is my New Sister Nellie. Mom adopted her through Boykin Spaniel Rescue. We have great fun playing. Nellie is a little jealous of me when I want to be on mom or dad's lap but mom has it under control.

I am looking forward to spring because Winter has lasted way too long. I hope mom and dad move to the Carolina's some day.

Wow or Woof I am on the Diary page of the Day.

I have to say I am very excited to be on today's Diary Page.

Today it is back to work for mom & dad. I never like Mondays. However tomorrow is school, Yeah. I love it. We had to work on longer stays this week. Mommy said I do really well. I think I might pass this week.

Woof for now. Hope I meet new friends being on the Diary Page of the Day.

I went to class tonight. Mommy said she was very proud of me. I will need to pass my Canine Good Citizens test. I do really well with sit, stay, come, but I like to jump on people when they approach me. Mommy said we have a lot of work to do. Woof Woof for now.

P.S. Mittens (that is the darn cat) is sitting next to mommy on the desk. I want to get at her, but mommy is protecting her. Darn!

Busy Week

I will start my second class for obedience school this week. I am very excited, I love class.

Today I met my Boykin cousin Lexie. She is really pretty.

Mommy said that I could get a little friend in April, I can't wait.

Winston's arrival

Winston was a great surprise two days before Christmas 2006. My friend & co-worker told me she had to leave work early. Not thinking much of it my husband called and wanted to use my car and asked me to be on time. (As she has a Boykin Spaniel She went with ed to help him choose)

Later that evening he walked into the bedroom rubbing his belly and saying that he had a stomach ache, he open his jacket and there was Winston with a Christmas bow. Poor little guy was shacking so bad, the ride was too much for him. (Now I can not get him out of the car. When I come home from the store he jumps in and looks at me like come on lets go.) Of course it was love at first sight and we are considering a female boykin in another year.
