Lily found her new family ;*)

I'm thankful to everyone who inquired about adopting Lily...We received at least 10 inquiries and visited 5. She really means a lot to me, and I wanted to find a home that would make her happy- being my first dog and all. I believe she'll do well with her new family- she was eager to check out her new home as soon as we unloaded her stuff. I wish the best to Lily and her new parents (Troy and Ashley)...maybe we'll see each other again ;*)

Dog Day on the Bay

Mommy woke me up early yesterday- I had to wear my pink raincoat because she thought it might rain, and to cover up my neck, 'cuz I get irritable if other dogs try to pick me up. We went to downtown for the 10 am Hornblower Cruise ...it was my first time, so I didn't know what she was getting me into. We ran into some friends from the dog park and their mommies (Arlo, Max and Mackenzie) and Bear showed up later.
Mommy gave one of my towels to help with the Helen Woodward animal shelter, and they gave us a Frosty Paws treat (which was SO yummy) and some toys from Petco.
On the ship, there were a lot of other dogs - I wanted to play, but mommy wouldn't let me :( We went up on the top deck, and I could see the water...and the ground looked SO far! We walked around the deck, and overall it was a unique experience.
Afterward, we went to Nate's Point for a little while...we would've stayed longer, but mommy noticed they were doing some landscaping and the ground was really muddy. Can't wait to go to the dog park today--YAY!
