Arrival Story: My mommy wanted the little red Chihuahua named Peppy that the neighbors were neglecting. They moved away and took him which broke my mom's heart. She missed her "little red dog." Little did she know that I was going to be her little red dog!!! Hurricane Katrina hit which was quite a situation for me as I was on the lam as a stray. I was hungry, flea bitten, and my collar was too tight causing my skin to grow around it. After the storm, I was put in a foster home in Texas and having been found on Woodrow Avenue they decided to name me Woodrow. I went through 7 foster homes from Texas to Seattle before I got to my Wilton family. A very nice lady in Redmond, WA was flying her plane down to Texas and picking up small dogs there to have them adopted in the Seattle area. My mom learned about me from one of her clients who has an in home petite pooch daycare. She told my mom about my little redness and how my name was Woodrow. Since her last name is Wilton, my mom knew that I was meant to become Woodrow Wilton. Now I live a life of abundance and feel loved my my mommy and daddy. Last year we had a new baby come live with us. I didn't see the stork, he must have come in the night while I was hiding under the covers. I make sure I keep a close watch on what my baby is doing and protect her. It's a very important job to do but one that I put my best paw forward. I may have come a long way but all the travel was worth it!!!

Forums Motto: Did you say chicken strip?
