Arrival Story: I was looking for a feline companion for my 4-year old DSH-Tabby cat when I came across this little mixed breed named Missie (well, actually "Misfit" then) about a half hour before the Animal Shelter closed. She was everything I was looking for...a small, low maintenance, short haired, young adult rescue dog. The rest is history.....She's got the nicest, laid-back, most happy, loving, easy going and playful demeanor...Thus far, she's been everything I could ask for in a pet. I think that after spending her first year or so of life as a stray, she's grateful to have found a forever home and she shows her appreciation every day. The feeling is mutual....she's amazing.
